Chinese Qing Cash Sword Talisman - Antique talisman sword comprised of Chinese Qing coins strung together, most dated ca. 1908. These non-functional swords were often used as talismans to ward off evil. Length: 18 in x width: 4 in x depth: 1 in. Gross weight: 422.1 g. Condition: Coins with tarnishing and wear throughout as expected from circulated antique currency. Wear to the strings in some places. There may be some coins missing from the original composition; the coins are loose along the 'handle'.
