Byzantine Constantinian Order of St. George - Byzantine Constantinian Order of St. George comprised of a red and green moire silk sash, suspending a gilt brass medal. The medal comprised of a two lobed crown with enamel details and marked Lascaris. From that is suspended a cross fleury with red enamel details and the letters IHSV for ”In Hoc Signo Vinces” at each arm. The center of the cross a circular emblem with the Chi Rho and Alpha and Omega, surrounded by a green laurel wreath. The cross suspending a gilt pendant of St. George slaying the dragon. A breast star from the same order featuring the same cross motif as described above over a gilt bronze circle with rays. A medal bar of red and green moire silk suspending a miniature version of the breast star. A button hole set with a miniature version of the breast star, except with scalloped edges. All in a fitted purple leather case with blue velvet. (Box) Length: 12 in x width: 6 in x height: 2.5 in. Gross weight: 751.5 g. Condition: Some very minor nicks to the enamel, tarnishing in some areas, fraying to the silk on the button hole.
