High Karat Gold Mughal Pendant - High karat gold Mughal pendant set with a central emerald cabochon surrounded by eight ruby cabochons further surrounded by nine emerald cabochons. Accented by red, green and white enamel. Suspending five emerald drops. The reverse with a finely rendered red enamel poppy on a white field, surrounded by green leaves, red petals and a blue and gold border. Unmarked, tested as high karat gold. Likely 19th century. Height: 47.18 mm x width: 37.22 mm. Gross weight: 21.8 g. Condition: Losses to the enamel, concentrated to the obverse side.
