Lrg 19th c. Continental Sterling Silver Hot Water Pot - Large sterling silver hot water pot with repousse foliate and grape bunch details and a wooden handle. With gilt wash interior. Marked along the lid and base with French Minerva in rectangular cartouche with clipped corners for sterling with makers mark in a diamond lozenge containing a bird perched on the letters CD. Height: 8 1/2 in x width: 7 in x depth: 9 1/4 in. Gross weight: 28.89 oz t. Condition: Tarnishing, polish accretions to the recessed areas, three small dings, some light scratching. All components firmly affixed.
