Victorian Silverplate & Glass Pickle Dish - Victorian silver plated mounted glass pickle dish. Comprised of a base with three dolphins supporting a two-handled liner into which a cylinder of white frosted glass with a pink rim rests. Marked 250 along the base. Similar dish in the collection of the Chrysler Museum item number 0.1448. This style was popular from 1870-1880. Height: 10 in x width: 8 in x depth: 4 1/4 in. Gross weight: 1,304.4 g. Condition: There are no major breaks or losses to the glass. Light tarnishing to the recessed areas of the receptacle. There is a residual label affixed to the underside and to the glass.
