Joseph Chinard ”Madame Recamier” Marble Bust - Joseph Chinard (French, 1756-1813). 19th century marble bust titled ”Madame Recamier” depicting a scantily dressed woman, her hair in an ornate updo. She clutches a thin fabric over her which falls open to reveal a shoulder and breast. Height: 24 in x width: 13 in x depth: 9 in. Weight: 88 lbs 3 oz. Condition: There are some small chips to the base. No major visible restorations. Light wear throughout including some small scuffs or areas of discoloration.
