Patinated bronze sculpture titled ”Colleone” depicting Bartolomeo Colleoni (Italian, 15th c.) atop a horse, 19th century. Incised title along the base. The original monument to Bartolomeo Colleoni, crafted by Andrea del Verrocchio during the late 15th century, is a sculpture located at the Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo. Colleoni served various Italian city-states, most notably Venice, earning a reputation for both military prowess and political shrewdness. The striking original equestrian statue in Venice by Andrea del Verrocchio, symbolizes his legacy as one of the most celebrated commanders of the Renaissance.
