2 Austrian Egyptian Style Bronze Bookends - Set of two Egyptian-style bronze bookends featuring a seated man wearing the crown of Amun and a woman wearing the Hedjet crown of Upper Egypt. Each bookend is impressed with a stamp reading ”Austria.” (Male) Height: 6 3/4 in x width: 2 1/2 in x depth: 3 in. (Female) Height: 6 1/2 in x width: 2 1/2 in x depth: 3 in. Condition: There are no large dents, losses, or breaks. Light tarnishing and verdigris patination thorughout. Some dust gathered along the recessed areas. Some wear to the footrims including light fleabite chips along the extreme edges of the bases, primarily the front left corner of the male book end. Wear to the undersides.
