Chinese Han Dynasty Lacquer Offering Tray Table - Chinese Western Han dynasty fine and rare lacquerware wooden serving tray table stand with gilt bronze legs, 2nd century BCE to 1st century CE. Loan: Minneapolis Institute of Art, L.2002.179, 2003-2004. Provenance: From the Distinguished Personal Collection of Dr. Robert Jacobsen. Height: 5 1/4 in x width: 22 1/2 in x depth: 13 in. Condition: Heavy wear throughout consistent with age and use including several chips, areas of splitting and cracks, and some losses along the edges of the tray. Two of the feet are not attached to the frame, but are still included; the other two legs are somewhat loose. Tarnishing and some wear to the feet. There are felt tabs affixed to the areas of the table frame that the tray rests along.
