Pair of Chinese Yoke Back Official's Hat Chairs - Pair of Chinese carved ”official's hat” or yoke back armchairs with woven cane seats. The gently contoured center splats rising to a curved crest rail flanked by rounded arms. The legs joined by four linear stretchers and curvilinear skirt. (One chair) Weight: 24 lbs 8 oz. (Second chair) Weight: 24 lbs 2 oz. Condition: The chairs appear structurally sound and stable. There are no breaks or losses to the caning. Light separation to the joints. Some scuffs, scratches and wear to the finish of both chairs; one chair with heavy wear to the finish along the rear edge of the seat. One chair possibly repaired where the splat meets the seat.
