19th c. Chinese Qing Embroidered Silk Kesi Panel - Chinese kesi embroidered silk tapestry or textile panel, Qing dynasty, 19th century. Depicting floral arrangements and bouquets in vases on ”apricot” ground. The lower half of the panel with blue and white mountains and peonies amid linear lishui wave motifs. Bordered by a dark band with auspicious shou symbols. Height: 25 in x width: 16 in. Condition: There are a few minute holes in the border band and some areas of shattering to the silk. Some scattered losses to the embroidery, particularly to the dark brown thread. Scattered areas of soiling throughout, including along the backing.
