Charles Wehringer Mini Egg Basket Painting - Charles Wehringer (American, 20th c). Oil on wood miniature painting depicting a basket of eggs. Signed along the lower right. Height: 1 3/4 in x width: 1 3/4 in x depth: 1/2 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no breaks. There are a few minute to small-sized losses to the pigment, primarily along the extreme edges. There is a ring screw inserted along the verso. Light wear along the verso, including some small losses and accretions.
