Patti Warashina ”Loss of Identity” Clay Sculpture - Patti Warashina (American, b. 1940). Low-fire clay and glaze sculpture titled ”Loss of Identity” from the ”White Figure” series, 1979. Depicting a smiling nude woman hoisting a blanket with distressed face along the lower half, standing opposite from a faceless figure. Displayed in an acrylic case. Incised signature and date along the base. Provenance: By repute, purchased from Foster/White Gallery, Washington; Private Minnesota Collection. Height: 18 1/2 in x width: 22 1/2 in x depth: 14 1/2 in. Condition: There are no visible cracks, losses, or signs of repair. Some wear to the acrylic display box. Not inspected out of the case.
