HC Westermann ”See America First” Lithograph 1968 - Horace Clifford Westermann (American, 1922-1981). Lithograph in color on German etching paper from the ”See America First” portfolio, 1968. Depicting two figures amid a mountainous desert landscape; one figure resembling a small silhouette of an individual, the second figure in the form of a large, bulky humanoid resembling the ”Michelin Man, ” with segmented limbs and a wide stance. Pencil signed, dated, and annotated BAT along the lower edge. Published by Tamarind Lithography Workshop, Albuquerque, New Mexico. From an edition of 20.
