Beatien "Jimmy Toddy" Yazz (Navajo, 1928-2021). Gouache on paper painting depicting a Native American mother and daughter washing or dyeing fabric, 1922. Pen signed along the lower right.
Sight; height: 24 1/2 in x width: 29 1/2 in. Framed; height: 27 1/2 in x width: 32 1/2 in x depth: 1 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and bright. The sheet is unevenly toned. There are no visible tears or losses. There are two areas along the upper left quadrant that fluoresce under UV light. Framed under glass. Light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
