Peter Lind Aleutian Bentwood Hunter's Visor - Peter Lind (Aleut/Alutiiq (Cirniq - Chignik), b. 1930). Large bentwood and open-crown hunting visor, 20th century. Depicting painted geometric motifs, with applied strands of glass beads, feathers, and carved organic material forms. Pencil signed along the interior. Provenance: Heard Museum, Arizona; Private Collection, New York. Height: 5 1/2 in x width: 10 in x depth: 22 in. Condition: Light wear along the extreme edges. Light dust gathered along the recessed areas.
