Peter Lind Aleutian Bentwood Hunter's Visor - Peter Lind Jr. (Aleut/Alutiiq, (Alaskan, b. 1930). Large bentwood and open-crown hunting visor, 2003. With painted trim and applied carved organic material in the form of two mammals and two placards with circle-and-dot motifs. Featuring applied glass beads, feathers, and string. Signed along the interior. Provenance: Heard Museum, Arizona; Private Collection, New York. Height: 8 in x width: 14 in x depth: 8 in. Condition: Some discoloration and wear, particulalry to the feathers.
