2 Inuit Cribbage Boards - Group of two Inuit cribbage boards. One carved from organic material cribbage board with a seal form finial and incised with seal and ice scenes. One carved organic material cribbage board with black incised lines. Both unsigned and without pegs. Provenance: Purchased from a Private Minnesota Collection, 1987; Private Collection. (Larger) Height: 1 1/4 in x width: 13 in x depth: 2 1/4 in. (Smaller) Height: 1 in x width: 12 1/2 in x depth: 5 in. Condition: Light wear and toning to the organic material, as expected with age. There is an unsympathetic repair and adhesive residue along the center of the larger cribbage board. Both boards lacking gaming pegs. The non seal board with a varnish that appear to have yellowed significantly.
