6 Carved Chukchi Figures - Group of six Chukchi organic material carvings depicting figures smoking, reading, fishing, sewing, and listening. Signed variously in syllabics and Cyrillic. Provenance: Heard Museum, Arizona; Private Collection, New York. Height ranges from 1 3/4 in to 3 in. Condition: Accretions to the cavities, needle missing from sewing figure adhesive to the base of several pieces.
