9 Pcs Yupik & Inuit Hunting Tools - Group of nine Pacific Northwest Yu'pik (Alaskan) and Inuit tools. Including: Peter Lind Jr. (Alaskan (Aleut/Alutiiq), b. 1930). Carved organic material, sinew, and seal gut bola instrument for bird hunting, ca. 2002. Peter Pitseolak (Inuit (Baffin Island - Qikiqtaaluk), 1902-1973). Carved wood and steel knife, early 20th century. One Alaskan (Yupik) organic material fishing line with weight and hook. Six Taloyoak (Spence Bay) harpoon points of organic material, metal, and stone. Provenance: Heard Museum, Arizona; Private Collection, New York. Height ranges from 1 in to 11 1/2 in; width ranges from 1 in to 3 in; depth ranges from 1 in to 2 in. Condition: Wear throughout each commensurate with age and use.
