Inuit Chupak Carving of Woman w/ Berries - Chupak (Camobian Alaskan, b. 20th century). Carved organic material figure of a Yupik or Inupiaq woman, gathering berries in a vessel. The berries are glass beads adhered to the figures vessel and hands. Incised Chupak and Juneau, Ak along the underside. Height: 5 in x width: 4 1/2 in x depth: 2 1/4 in. Condition: There are no major breaks or losses. There are some natural fissures, inherent vice to the medium. Light dust gathered along the recessed areas.
