6 Sarah Novalinga Fish Skin Dolls - Sarah Novalinga (Inuit (Belcher Islands - Sanikiluaq), b. 1979). Group of six cod and char fish skin dolls with hide and fur accents, ca. 2002. Provenance: Heard Museum, Arizona; Private Collection, New York. Height ranges from 8 in to 12 in; width ranges from 4 in to 8 1/2 in; depth ranges from 2 in to 3 in. Condition: Wear throughout commensurate with age including brittleness and some small losses to the fish scales. Heavy fish odor throughout, consistent with the material.
