5 Strands Trade Beads - Group of five strands of ceramic trade beads in blue, white, red, green and green with striations. Circa 1700 to 1850. Provenance: Purchased from the Alaska General Store, Anchorage, Alaska, 1987; Private Minnesota Collection. Length ranges from 24 in to 31 in. Condition: Some beads with minute to small-sized chips along the extreme edges. Some wear to the strands, including fraying.
