3 Early 20th c. Dine Navajo Wool Rug Textiles - Group of three Dine (Navajo) rug textiles, early 20th century. Including: One Klagetoh or Ganado textile. The carpet with central field depicting seven stylized diamond medallions against cream ground, flanked by angular grey and red forms. Bordered by band of dark brown with curvilinear pattern. One Ganado rug with central field depicting five serrated diamond medallions executed in grey and white wools on red ground; the central diamond depicting a kachina or katsina face. Flanked by linear lightning bolt patterns along either side. One saddle blanket depicting a vibrant red geometric central medallion with two regions of indigo along either side of the form on cream ground. (Saddle Blanket) Length: 2 ft 10 in x width: 2 ft 3 in. (Kachina) Length: 5 ft 1 in x width: 2 ft 11 in. (Brown) Length: 4 ft 11 in x width: 2 ft 8 in. Condition: There are no signs of insect activity. No odors. Light wear along the extereme edges including some small breaks to the selvage along each, particularly the saddle blanket. Some areas of dye transfer and color bleeding to the kachina rug. There are two small holes, where the warp is worn but the weft is still intact, along the central field of the brown rug.
