10” Clewell Pottery Copper-Clad Arts & Crafts Vase - Charles Walter Clewell (American, 1876-1965) for Clewell Pottery, Canton, Ohio. Arts & Crafts style copper-clad earthenware ceramic vase vessel with lovely verdigris patina gradient, ca. 1930. Of gently tapered form with recessed neck and shoulder. Incised ”Clewell” and numbered ”296-2-6” along the underside. Height: 10 in x diameter: 5 1/2 in. Condition: There are no major breaks or cracks. There are some small scuffs and accretions, particularly along the shoulder. Light wear to the footrim.
