2 Mosaic Tile Co. Arts & Crafts Pictorial Tiles - Mosaic Tile Company, Zanesville, Ohio. Group of two American Arts & Crafts ceramic pictorial pottery tiles, early 20th century. Including one depicting a chick in stride and a second tile depicting a figure atop an animal, likely a ram or possibly a horse. Each with impressed mark along the verso. (Each) Height: 4 1/4 in x width: 4 1/4 in x depth: 1/2 in. Condition: (Chicken) There are no large breaks or losses. Light wear along the extreme edges. Light crazing to the glaze. There are four felt strips along the underside. (Figure) There are no signs of restoration. Some minute to small sized chips along the extreme edges. Light wear to the underside.
