AETCO Art Pottery Kneeling Figure Incense Burner - American Encaustic Tile Co., Ohio. Art Deco pottery incense burner depicting a kneeling woman figure, ca. 1920s-1930s. With metallic luster glaze. Impressed ”AETCO” along the footrim. The incense burner modeled after a form originally designed by the artistic director of the American Encaustic Tiling Company at the time, Leon-Victor Solon (English, 1873-1957). Height: 7 in x width: 5 1/4 in x depth: 3 1/2 in. Condition: There are no major breaks or losses. Light crazing. Light wear to the footrim and the interior of the receptacle along the apex of the form.
