Rare Jugtown Pottery Ovoid Jar ca. 1920s-1930s - Jugtown Pottery, Seagrove, North Carolina. Rare ovoid art pottery jar, ca. 1920s-1930s. Salt-glazed stoneware with a band of incised arc motifs and two applied lug handle along the shoulder. Stamped along the underside. Height: 8 in x diameter: 9 in. Condition: There are no breaks, losses, or signs of restoration. Crazing to the glaze throughout. Light wear to the footrim.
