JB Owens Arts & Crafts Matte Green Pottery Vase - J.B. Owens Pottery, Zanesville, Ohio. Early 20th century Arts & Crafts pottery vase depicting incised linear motifs, ca. 1905. Of a form similar in style to Southwestern Native American pottery olla vessels. Impressed ”Owens” and initialed ”S.J.” along the underside. Height: 7 in x diameter: 7 1/2 in. Condition: There are no breaks, cracks, or losses. There are some areas that fluoresce under UV light. Light crazing. Light wear to the footrim. Light accretions along the recessed areas.
