Attr. Joe Taylor Early Frankoma Pottery Figure - Attributed to Joe Taylor (American, 20th century) for Frankoma Pottery, United States. Rare and early art pottery experimental figure with mottled blue and jade green glaze, ca. 1930s. Depicting a slender nude woman with delicately angled hip, her right hand behind her back while her left arm rests at her side. Height: 20 3/4 in x width: 4 3/4 in x depth: 4 1/2 in. Condition: There are no major cracks or breaks to most of the sculpture. Areas of flaking and small losses to the glaze throughout. There is a small loss to the underside, visible when the figure is turned over. Light wear to the footrim.
