2 Chinese Warring States Period Ceramic Jars - Group of two Chinese Warring States period ceramic globular Ch'uan jars. Both vessels thinly potted with impressed fine fabric or mesh texture. The smaller vessel with two applied loop handles and suspended rings; the larger vessel with applied handle joined to the vessel by a strut, a single applied loop and suspended ring along the opposite side. Provenance: From the Distinguished Personal Collection of Dr. Robert Jacobsen. (Small) height: 3 1/2 in x diameter: 5 1/2 in. (Large) height: 4 1/2 in x width: 7 in x depth: 6 1/4 in. Condition: There are no major breaks. Wear commensurate with age throughout including a few minute chips to the rim. Some wear to the footrims. Dust and debris gathered along the recessed areas.
