Early & Large Chinese Ritual Animal Pottery Vessel - Early and large Chinese terracotta pottery lidded ritual vessel in the form of a mystical animal. Resting on three tripod feet. With incised linear and geometric motifs throughout; the lid with applied miniature animal forms. Repaired. Height: 10 in x width: 15 in x depth: 14 in. Condition: There are several repaired breaks and signs of repair throughout, especially to the legs and handles. There are cracks throughout the basin. Some debris gathered along the recessed areas.
