18th/19th c. Chinese Bronze Censer - Chinese bronze incense burner censer vessel, Qing dynasty, 18th-19th century. Of tapered globular form with mythical foo dog beasts or dragons depicted along the shoulder, interspersed with character marks. The underside with well-carved seal mark. Height: 3 1/2 in x diameter: 5 1/2 in. Condition: There are no bends, breaks, or losses. Patina throughout. There are small scattered areas of verdigris patination. A few fleabite chips along the raised elements, noticeable upon touch. Dust and debris gathered along the interior. Four felt tabs affixed along the underside.
