Chinese PRC Era Porcelain Bowl w/ Pomegranates - Chinese Republic era Doucai porcelain bowl, 20th century. Depicting four pomegranate cartouches interspersed with vining floral and foliate motifs. Executed in four colors, including yellow, red, blue, and green. With apocryphal six-character Ming dynasty mark along the underside. Height: 3 1/2 in x diameter: 8 in. Condition: To the rim, there is a small chip with a hairline crack extending downward from the chip. Light crazing, primarily to the yellow glazed regions along the exterior. Light scratches to the exterior of the bowl. To the lower third of the vessel, there is a small area with accretions.
