18th c. Chinese Export Clobbed Porcelain Plate - 18th century Chinese export porcelain dish depicting intricate floral and foliate patterns in red and orange glazes with gilt accents. Featuring an intriguing clobb'd or ”clobbered” lotus form along the center, applied over the blue and white underglaze porcelain plate. Inscribed label along the underside ”Persian Trade Chinese c. 1700.” Diameter: 9 in. Condition: There are no cracks or breaks. A few fleabite chips along the rim and footrim, noticeable upon close inspection. Small scattered firing flaws throughout. Surface wear, including scratches and losses to the gilt and glaze.
