18th-19th c. Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Tureen - Chinese Canton Export blue and white porcelain lidded tureen with tray, 18th-19th century. Depicting a serene river landscape with bountiful wildlife and flora. Along the lid is another riverscape scene with plentiful boats and various detailed architectural forms. The tray is decorated with floral and geometric motifs along the rim. Surmounted by a stem-form finial. Flanked by two rabbit-form handles along the sides of the tureen. (Tureen) Height: 9 in x width: 14 in x depth: 8 1/4 in. (Tray) Length: 13 in x width: 10 in. Condition: Light crazing throughout. There is a y-shaped hairline crack along the underside of the lid. There is a loss to the ear of one of the animal form handles and several chips, ranging from fleabite to moderately sized chips, along the rims. Light wear to the undertray.
