Early Chinese Pottery Ewer w/ Ochre Glaze - Early Chinese ceramic pouring vessel or pitcher with ocher glaze. Of an ovoid form with a cup-shaped mouth supported by a recessed neck. The form featuring a primary loop handle and two lug handles flanking either side of the shoulder. With a label inscribed ”2025;G 262.5” affixed to the underside. Height: 4 1/2 in x width: 3 1/2 in x diameter: 2 3/4 in. Condition: There is a repaired break to the spout. There are several signs of restoration that fluoresce under UV light along the rim, neck, handle, where the spout meets the body, and the lower lobe of the vessel. Light crazing to the glaze. Some accretions along the recessed areas.
