Chinese Dreamstone Marble & Hardwood Table Screen - Chinese dreamstone marble inset scholar's table screen. The stone roundel panel with natural striations possibly depicting a twilight sky or cloud at dusk. With inscription along the recto and two character inscription along the verso. Resting on elaborately carved hardwood stand depicting an auspicious shou symbol surrounded by scrolling and vining forms. Height: 25 3/4 in x width: 15 in x depth: 7 1/4 in. Condition: There are no breaks or losses to the stone. There are some breaks, losses, and repaired breaks to the stand, primarily to the middle third. Light wear to the feet.
