Chinese Hardstone Flower Tree w/ Cloisonne Planter - Chinese jade and hardstone flower tree in a cloisonne planter. The tree is constructed with delicately carved jade leaves and pink stone blossoms. The cloisonne planter is decorated with intricate floral motifs and scrolling vines against a turquoise ground. Height: 24 1/2 in x width: 18 in x depth:14 in. Condition: There are chips and losses throughout, particularly along the extreme edges of the foliate elements. There are possible signs of restoration or repair, particularly along the stems; it appears as though floral tape has been applied to some of the stems. One of the flowers and several leaves have become detached from the tree; these elements are still present and are laid along the surface of the pot. Many of the foliate elements are not securely affixed to the stems and are at risk of becoming detached from the tree. Light pitting to the cloisone. Tarnishing to the metal. Dust and debris gathered throughout, particularly along recessed areas.
