Chinese Painting of Goatherd Signed Yan Dehui - Signed Yan Dehui (Chinese, act. 13th c). Ink and pigment on parchment painting depicting a goat herder with three variously colored goats. With a letter of provenance by Wang Geyi (1897-1988) dated 1942. With several collector's seals along the margins. Sight; height: 57 in x width: 29 in. Framed; height: 67 in x width: 39 in x depth: 1 1/2 in. Condition: The colors are bold and deep. There are heavy cracks throughout the work, likely from having been rolled. The work is housed under a mat; framed under plexiglass. Light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
