19th c. Style of Yun Shouping Wisteria WC Painting - Style of Yun Shouping (Chinese, 1633-1690). Watercolor on silk painting depicting lavender wisteria flowers in bloom, ca. 1845. With a wax export seal tied along the upper left quadrant of the work. Ink dated along the verso. Sight; height: 10 1/2 in x width: 12 3/4 in. Framed; height: 15 1/2 in x width: 19 3/4 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: Along the lower right quadrant, there is a loss. The work is unevenly toned. There are scattered areas of soiling and foxing. There are small scattered areas of pink or light purple discoloration. There are losses to the wax seal along the upper left corner. There is a pinhole along the upper right quadrant where the wax seal is tied to the work. Floated in frame atop an acidic mat. Framed under glass. Light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
