Ren Xiong Ink Figural Painting - Ren Xiong (Chinese, 1823-1857). Ink on paper painting depicting three figures amongst foliage. Inscribed and with red seals along the left margin. Huaxin; height: 35 1/2 in x width: 17 1/4 in. Framed; height: 43 in x width: 24 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: The sheet is toned. There are scattered networks of foxing throughout. Some creases, including a deep horizontal crease along the upper quadrant of the work. There is a repaired vertical tear to the woman's left shoulder, measuring approximately 2 inches in length. Light undulation throughout. Framed under plexiglass; light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
