Meissen Sulkowski Ozier Koreanische Lowe Plate - Meissen, Germany. Porcelain Sulkowski-molded plate painted in the Kakiemon palette decorated in the ”Koreanische Lowe” pattern with a winged beast, a crane, and insects above flowering shrubs. The Ozier-molded borders with insects and Indianische Blumen. Blue crossed swords mark. Provenance: Sotheby's, London, October 9, 1984, Lot 211; The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Diameter: 9 1/4 in. Condition: There are no cracks. There are some losses to the pigment, particularly to the red mythical creature. Some wear to the footrim, including several very small chips.
