18th c. Staffordshire Oval Enamel Box - Staffordshire, England. Oval enamel trinket or jewelry box, 18th century. Painted with floral sprays and figures in a landscape. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Height: 1 in x width: 3 1/2 in x depth: 2 1/4 in. Condition: There are no major breaks or losses to the enamel. Light wear along the extreme edges. There is a faint and small y-shaped line of crazing along the underside of the lid, noticeable upon close inspection. Some scuffs and scratches along the underside.
