Small Enamel French Pill Box - Small French enamel pill box with gilt brass mounts, ca. 1880. Floral decoration on a blue ground. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Height: 3/4 in x diameter: 1 3/4 in. Condition: There are cracks and some small losses to the hinged lid and body. Some tarnishing to the inlaid metal decorative elements. Light tarnishing to the metal interior. The hinge works well, and the box opens and closes with ease. Some areas of paint along the body and lid fluoresce suggesting touch up repainting.
