Meissen Marcolini Floral Urn ca. 1770 - Meissen (Marcolini), Germany. Porcelain flowers in an urn or tub decorated with masks and scrollwork in relief, ca. 1770. Created at Meissen under the direction of Count Camillo Marcolini. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Height: 6 1/4 in x diameter: 3 1/2 in. Condition: There is a repaired break along the lower third of the central stem. Repaired cracks throughout including one large one that extends upwards from the stem repair to the topmost flower. There are some small chips along the extreme edges of the petals. One petal of the bottom flower with a small chip. Near complete loss of one petal of the upper flower.
