English Pearlware Pink & Copper Hunting Jug - Likely Sunderland, England. Pearlware jug with pink and copper luster, ca. 1820. Of bulbous shape, the sides with hunting dogs in relief. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Height: 6 in x width: 7 in x diameter: 5 1/2 in. Condition: To the handle and rim, there are a few small chips. There is wear to the glaze, including small losses and light scratches. There are two small horizontal firing flaws along the footrim.
