Louis XV Lady Ludlow Tulipwood Bijouterie Vitrine - French Louis XV tulipwood bijouterie or vitrine display table, ca. 1855. Featuring a shaped top fitted with glass panels and surface, applied ormolu acanthus-cast mounts, and cabriole legs. With a ”Lady Ludlow Collection” plaque along the underside. Provenance: Lady Ludlow Collection; South Audley Art Galleries Limited, London, 1972; The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Condition: There are no breaks or losses to the glass. The vitrine wobbles slightly. Light separation to the joints. There is a diagonal split forming along one of the corners of the table surface. There is a loss to the inlay along the lower half of one leg. There are areas of light separation to the mounting and the legs. Some wear to the feet. Uneven toning to the velvet lining.
