Pr George III Style Demilune Console Tables - Matched pair of George III style satinwood and mahogany demi-lune console tables. One late 19th century and the other 20th century. Each with two cupboard doors opening to reveal three drawers. On a plain apron with tapering legs terminating in spade feet. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. (Each) height: 35 1/2 in x width: 45 in x depth: 21 1/2 in. Condition: The tables are structurally sound and stable. Separation to the joints, particularly along the upper surface of one of the tables. The tables are without keys and the drawers cannot be locked; the right doors to both tables, as well as the left door and upper drawer of one table cannot be opened. To one of the tables there are several narrow vertical splits forming along the doors as well as a horizontal split on the rear edge of the upper surface. There are some scratches and scuffs. Tarnishing to the metal components. Light wear to the feet.
