Early 20th c. Louis XVI Style Chiffonier Table - Early 20th century Louis XVI style chiffonier table with a circular inset marble top. Marble top featuring pronounced charcoal grey veins against a white ground. With three curved frieze drawers with brass rosette pulls along the apron. Standing on three legs of columnar-form joined by a circular medial shelf. With ”Made in France” impressed along the underside of the medial shelf. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Height: 28 1/4 in x width: 15 1/2 in x depth: 15 1/4 in. Condition: The table is structurally sound and stable. The drawers open and close with ease. There is a loss along the wooden rim of the table's surface. There are small chips and losses, particularly along the rims of the upper and lower surfaces and along the drawers. There are scattered splits to the wood, noticeable upon close inspection. To the marble table top, there are no cracks or losses. There are fleabite chips along the rim, noticeable under close inspection. Light scratches to the wooden frame and marble surface. Wear to the feet commensurate with age and use, including scuffs and scratches.
